Replace MS Office 2007 With Office 2003


Microsoft office has been developed by Microsoft for use on computers that run on the Windows operating system. The first Office program of the new millennia was Microsoft Office 2003 and this version was replaced by an updated version in 2007. Most users use the latest versions and so the Office 2003 is replaced by Office 2007 and later on by Office 2010.
In case your existing Office program is version 2007 and you wish to use Office 2003 instead, all you need to do is uninstall and install the Office program. Follow the steps shared below to successfully perform the task.
Click on the Start button located on the bottom of the screen or directly hit the Windows key on your keyboard.
Click on the Control Panel option and select the Add or Remove Programs. A new screen will be displayed and select Microsoft Office 2007 from the options available. Click the tab Change/Remove and choose the option Uninstall.
Wait for the program to successfully install and restart the computer to bring the changes into effect.
Close all the programs after the restart. Locate and insert the Office 2003 CD into the CD drive. The computer will read the CD and display the prompt window.
In the window that appears, enter the product key in the field space and click on the bottom marked as Next. In the next step, enter your user name, full name and the company name and confirm and proceed to the next step by clicking Next.
You will be presented with the option to choose the type of installation you wish. Select one and click Next. Check the I agree box in the license agreement window to accept the terms and conditions and again click Next. Click on the button labeled Install in the next step.
Once the installation is over, restart the computer so that changes are brought into effect.
