Steps To Create A Note Using Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook, the email management tool also allows the user to manage calendar, contacts and other information. Besides this, Outlook also provides an easy way to create notes for important events and dates. Follow the steps outlined below to create a note using Microsoft Outlook.

• Launch Microsoft Outlook either by clicking the desktop shortcut link or by clicking the taskbar plug in on the quick access launch bar. You may also launch the same from the Start menu. To launch the application from the Start menu, click on the Windows orb placed on the bottom left corner of the Start screen. Instead, you may also launch the same using the desktop shortcut key labeled with the Windows icon. If you want, you may also use the keyboard shortcut key combo ctrl + Esc to launch the application menu.
• From the Start menu, select the label that reads All Programs. From the All Programs menu, select the label that reads Microsoft Outlook. You may also launch the application from the search space in the Start menu. To launch the application from the search space, first place the mouse pointer in the search space and type Microsoft Outlook.
• Open Outlook and click on the yellow square placed on the bottom left corner of the application window. Just move the cursor over the icon and you will see the label Notes being displayed. Click on the icon to make the Notes page appear.
• Click on the label File placed on top of the tool bar. From the Toolbar, select the label that reads New. This will make a yellow box to pop up. Enter the information into the yellow box text space.
• Click the X placed on the top right corner of the box after you finish entering the note. Now you will see your note on the right hand side of the screen. To review the details, double click the icon. You may modify the note by adding and removing data.
• To eliminate or delete the note, right click the note icon on the right pane. From the right click dropdown, select the label that reads Delete.
